JULIUS HAYDEN DIES IN GERMANTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA

Julius A Hayden, formerly widely known in Atlanta business and civic circles, died Friday morning at his home in Germantown, Pennsylvania after a lingering illness. Mr. Hayden, who had been retired from active participation in business, was the brother of Mrs. George W. Harrison of Atlanta.

The son of Judge Julius A. Hayden and Harriet Cone Hayden, leading figures in the early history of Atlanta, Mr. Hayden removed to Pennsylvania many years ago, making his home in Germantown, near Philadelphia. Surviving are four children, Edith, Mary, Julius, and Rubin, all of Germantown, and 3 sisters, Mrs. George W. Harrison of Atlanta, Mrs. John G. Williams of Evanston, Illinois, and Mrs. A. M. Thrasher of Montreaux, Switzerland.

Funeral services and burial will take place in Atlanta.
